Back once again as we continue to surf the wave of this new normal into 2022 with you.

First up we invite Sydney/Eora based artist Hüda for the 21st Release on Touch Of Loft with his debut EP “Himalia”.

Hüda’s style & sound is in full effect on TOL 021, Weaving between breakbeat techno, atmospheric slow-burners & Drum and bass.

Title track Himalia hits hard just like the formation of its namesake a former asteroid and now one of Jupiter's moons.
Tribal percussion sits over half-time kicks and sub-bass that hit like late arvo summer thunderstorms. The breaks and beats swim in cosmic pads, and electrified synth stabs. All chugging along at a healthy 175 BPM ;).

The last of Hüda OG tracks on TOL 021 is “Grim.” Rhythmically slower and Deeping than the other cuts on the EP. Grim Transports the listener to a dystopian reality far In the Future. Via atmospheric pads and ominous vocal stabs that sit over a shuffling breakbeat.

Rounding out the EP is a remix by Sydney/Eora’s Earnest J. Flipping the title track “Himalia” into a slower late-night acid monster. The hard-hitting drums and breaks are slowed down to bump and groove with the remixes heavy acid line. TIP!
